Woodrose Senior Residences in Shah Alam was the first elderly care centre we visited as part of our Home Care Campaign. The centre provides a comfortable environment for its predominantly Muslim elderly residents, supported by attentive nursing care and the centre’s management team.

During our visit, we were able to support two residents with different wound care needs. One patient had an early diabetic-related ulcer measuring approximately 5 cm, with healthy-looking surrounding tissue that allowed the wound to continue being closely managed.

The second patient was recovering after surgery and also living with diabetes, with several wounds around the thigh area. We assisted with the application of Bian Wound Care Gel as part of their ongoing wound care routine, helping to maintain a suitable moist environment while supporting the skin’s natural regeneration process.
